GM all! I too had a wonderful week and I'm so proud of myself.

I've been journaling everything that I put in mouth. I've taken all of my vitamins (and I still HATE the effect of those little iron pills)!!

I've worked out 3 times this week (so far) and I'm going to work out tonight also. I must say even on my lunch hour (in the snow).  I put on my boats, hats, gloves, scarf and take a walk on my lunch for 30 minutes.

Walking in WI during the winter is no joke.  My first trip to Milwakee was in early October.  I arrived in a suit wearing a trench coat and spiked heel pumps... during a snow storm.  A blizzard to a NY'er but nothing but flurries in WI, lol.  I had to go buy a real coat and some boots.

Congratulations on starting the year right.

Good morning!

I'm feeling pretty good today! I've been getting physical this week and I'm seeing the results. I noticed a bunch of vets saying they weigh in daily to help with accountability but I normally weigh in weekly. This week I've weighed in everyday and it has helped. I've made better food choices knowing that the scale is moving down.

Looks like I'll continue to work out at home in the a.m. MM#1 said she couldn't make it because of the weather...........I woke up to 6 inches of snow and it's freezing so.................the basement is my new found gym!

My doc told me to start eating protein first thing in the a.m. instead of fruit since I'm normally on the go. I think this is really curbing my appetite.

Nevertheless..............I love being accountable. Thanks for keeping this post going and being consistent.

    Awww, don't mention it!

I'm so jealouse of your home gym.   for a house with a finished basement in 2010.

I like the protein first mornings too.  My doctor also reccomends (insists) on it.  On my best days its cardio, protein shake, breakfast including my carb meal for the day.  Love the fruit in the morning but its my worst trigger food.

Good start for the year.

You go girl...keep up the good work on being accountable & doing your workouts.  You make me want to go get my workout on, lol.  I will have to try having protein more in the am, thanks for the tip.

I like water jogging but the classes near me seem to attract only the geriatric set.  I have no desire to work out with the granny brigade.   I'm almost 48 and no bodies young'n, lol.

Perhaps swimming is next for you.  I'd bet you'd be a good distance swimmer in multiple styles.  I'm thinking of taking it up again but with this cold weather even in the South, not until Spring.  The pools at the Y are all out doors.
Brrrrr!

Glad you're cleared to get moving again.

Whew!!!!! Needed that azz kicking this AM for sure.  Thank you.  I was gearing up and prepared for restart my program when I sustained a back injury and developed Bells Palsy in my face this week, which set me back on my work outs.  So my eating started to fail as well.  My issue is that I don't eat enough.  I don't get in enough healthy calories so I actually hold on to every pound I have and do not loose.  Movement is the key for me here.  When I am working out properly and consistently, my eating comes back in line or should I say, I am able to adjust my eating more effectively.  Since being couch bound for a few days, I am having a hard time eating very much.  Nibble hear, nibble there and then I forget to eat other than that.  So...thank you for the butt kick this morning, I needed it.

Love is all there is, ever was or ever will be...

Any time my dear, lol.

Bell's Palsy is no joke.  Eat well and heal up well.  I hope you're better soon.
